We forget to remember that somedays

Or all days, we play the memories to remember

The daze we felt when deep in sweet slumber

Were amazing, but not perfect in light grays.

We replay the tapes we altered with our hearts

Because the sum of our love shadowed parts

To relay the feeling of pride we felt for what seemed perfect

But if it ended at all, little night owl,
